Owen L. Duggan

Owen L. Duggan is an active church music director, composer, and arranger. He currently serves as music director at Northwood Presbyterian Church and Musica Sacra in San Antonio, and as program head at the San Antonio Academy private school for boys. He has studied composition and arranging at McGill University and the University of North Texas. In addition, he holds the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in applied music from the University of Texas at Austin. Duggan is a keen advocate of adapting traditional sources for contemporary use through the application of jazz, folk, and gospel styles.
