Vicki Nurre

Vicki Nurre  (BM in music composition, MM in flute performance University of Kansas) was a staff accompanist for the Indianapolis Children's Choir from 1994-2001.  As such, she created several original works and arrangements for the choir.  While in Indianapolis, she also created and administrated the first instrumental program for a local private high school.  Ms. Nurre has written a handbook, Accompanying and the Choir: A Guide for Accompanists and Conductors to Artistic Choral Accompanying.  She currently resides in the Seattle, Washington area where she works with the Columbia Children's Choir and maintains a private studio for flute and piano instruction.
